PRACTICAL ADVICE ABOUT OBSERVANCE OF TRUTH

In relation to the practice of ‘Truth’ Prabhushree had told many practical details. From these, some points which could be reflected upon are briefly given below:

‘ASPECTS OF TRUTH TO BE CONTEMPLATED UPON’ :

1. There can be no exception in the practice of truth.

2. Truth should be practiced completely. In it, there should not be any half-truth or ambiguous truth.

3. Help of un-truth should not be obtained for work of compassionate nature or to help someone. Any auspicious work also should be done only by truth.

4. Wealth or assets of a person observing truth in life can only be of spiritual help. Money earned through untruthful means cannot be of any help in spirituality.

5. Income through truthful means and that through un-truthful means cannot be separated in the life of the same person.

6. If a person not practicing truth gives his wealth-assets, to another person, then the false Karmas also pass along with them (in sequential order) to the receiver.

7. Untruth should not be spoken, before even small children. A small promise given to a child should also be observed.

8. Karmas do not affect small children and mute creatures when they eat food purchased form money earned through untruthful means, because they do not have the power of discrimination between what is true and what is false. In this aspect they are innocent (that is why, Rev. Prabhushree used to distribute sweets received from wealthy persons amongst children. He did not allow devotees in partaking of the same.

9. Only after a person decides to take a vow of practicing truth, the process of purification of his all the past ‘Karmas’ beings. By the power of ‘Truth’ step by step, his bad ‘Karmas’ resulting from his wealth begin becoming pure. Along with this, his wealth and assets can become useful in spirituality.

If a person collects a great amount of money by adopting many false ways and then decides to practice ‘Truth’, then his past bad ‘Karmas’ do not get destroyed. He has invariably to purify his past bad karmas with the help of ‘Truth’.

10. Untruth should not be spoken or such an act should not be performed even for the sake of innocent joy or marry-making.

11. It is not advisable to tell the ‘Truth’ at improper time and place or in case of unnecessary controversial problems in which there is likelihood of conflict.

In the end, it can be said that the work and purpose of Rev. Prabhushree was to “establishing age of truth”. And that is why, He went this deep into the principle of Truth, with the intention what His principle, instead of becoming a subject of imagination may indeed become a practical way of life whose all the requirements He had fulfilled through His own Self-conduct. In this way, the Darshan of the concord between His life and work is exhibited in His practice of the principle of Truth.
